Description
The Fenix 8 is Garmin's absolute flagship (2024), unifying the former Fenix and Epix lines into one family: 3 sizes (43/47/51mm), titanium case and sapphire glass. It's the "buy once, done" watch for people who refuse compromises. Dual-band multi-GNSS locks on even between buildings or under tree cover, with global TopoActive maps already on board — you won't pull out your phone to navigate. The 47mm AMOLED gives 13 days in always-on smartwatch mode and 28 hours in dual-band — a full ultra with margin. The new features actually get used: speaker and mic for calls and voice commands from the wrist, an LED flashlight, and dive features to 40m. Elevate Gen 5 HR, ECG, SpO2, 32GB of music and Garmin Pay. For the top-tier hybrid athlete who wants training, navigation, recovery and daily life in one device, with no second watch. It's not the cheapest or the smallest: if you just need to run and track sleep, a Forerunner costs less and sits lighter on the wrist. Satellite inReach is only on the Fenix 8 Pro (+€100).
